The Russian women’s youth ice hockey team (U18) will play two test matches in Turkey against the local national team.

Alexander Syrtsov’s team will play against the Turkish women’s national team on November 7 and 8. Both games will be held in Istanbul.

Recently, the Russian U18 women’s national team has been preparing for friendly matches at the Novogorsk Sports Facility. The head coach of the national team, Alexander Syrtsov, shared his emotions before the games:

– This is a wonderful event, first of all because the youth women’s national team has not traveled anywhere for four years, only training camps were held in Novogorsk, they trained, and then they went home. Therefore, it is very good that we are now flying to Turkey and playing international matches. I would like to see how our girls will look against the host team.
