The meeting of the Head of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, with the King of Bahrain, His Majesty Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, took place in Manama. The working visit took place within the framework of the Russia-Islamic World Strategic Vision group headed by the head of the region.

Rustam Minnikhanov delivered a speech at the 19th Annual Conference on Islamic Banking and Finance. He thanked the King of Bahrain, Hamad bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, for the invitation and touched upon the topic of an experiment on the introduction of partner financing.

The meeting also discussed the development of bilateral relations, aspects of joint cooperation between Russia and Bahrain and the possibility of expanding it to new horizons.

The Head of Tatarstan also invited the conference participants to attend the annual international economic forum “Russia — the Islamic World: KazanForum”. It will be held in May next year in Kazan.
