Roman Lyubimov, ex-player of Ak Bars Kazan, Spartak Moscow, Philadelphia Flyers and the Russian national ice hockey team signed a contract with the Galaxy Warriors club from the UAE.

The 32-year-old spent last season at French Grenoble (Ligue Magnus), earned 27 points (10+17) in 26 games. In the 2016-2017 season, he played 47 games for the Philadelphia Flyers in the NHL, and in the 2020-2021 season, he played 9 games for Ak Bars and scored two assists.
