On August 25, a meeting was held on the development of hockey in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and Lebanon. In the format of three online meetings, ADIHIC talked with the President of the Winter Sports Club of Saudi Arabia Sultan Yasir Salama, Secretary General and President of the Pakistan Ice hockey Federation Mukkaram Ali and Fawad Subhani, as well as with the President of the Lebanese Ice hockey Federation Charles El-Mir
Now, the main problem for these countries is the lack of a sufficient number of places where they can play ice hockey. Moreover, there are simply no ice rinks in Pakistan and Lebanon. Nevertheless, in Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, hundreds of children and adults really love ice hockey and want to develop further in this sport. And the representatives of Lebanon are situated in Montreal, Canada but are doing a great job of developing their players outside the country
In cooperation with the experts of the Ak Bars hockey club, an audit of the hockey infrastructure in these countries was conducted in various areas, and ways of developing this sport in the regions were also outlined
All the meetings were held in a friendly atmosphere, and we will definitely see the results of the productive work of these countries in the field of hockey development in the coming years
