The Kazakhstan U20 national ice hockey team will play at the IIHF World Junior Championship in Ottawa. It started on December 26 and will run until January 5, 2025.
Kazakhstan is in Group B, where they will play with Sweden, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Switzerland. The national team gained a ticket to the elite division last year, and will compete in it for the ninth time. Remind that Kazakhstan’s last performance in the top of the JWC was in 2020.
Before the games of the JWC group stage, the Kazakhstan youth team played a test match with the Hawkesbury Hawsk club, which ended with an 8-1 victory for the blue-yellows.
